Webmasters are now now faking reviews, etc [via microformats] and reaping the rewards with enhanced listings on google (big yellow review stars and positive [and fake] review numbers on their SERP listings.)

It happens all the time, unfortunately. Nothing we can do about it. Make sure you do your portion of review before taking any actions

Generally people shouldn't fake product reviews as there are a lot of people who will fall for them and waste a lot of their own money.
