    Post Online vs Offline marketing

Lot of companies / websites are still scared to spend a few hundred euro monthly on online marketing. But why? They are spending double the amounts on offline marketing but they can't measure offline as good as online!

    People listen:

Online marketing is very easy to measure. There are free tools to see exactly what your money brought in. With offline marketing its guessing, and you will never know!

I say: Get into online marketing today!

As per me online marketing can hit more people, but I think offline marketing (from experience) is more effective, because it seems more legitimate than online advertising.

Maybe those who are scared are those who has no experience yet in spending a money. But maybe if they will try it, I think they will like it.

I think both online and offline marketing are great ways of increasing ones customer base. However, the main difference is in your target. If you're selling wrappers/wax, and you know your customers are most likely to be women who are past middle-age, who are likely to own shops, then it would be pointless advertising online. In the same way, it wouldn't make sense to advertise a service offering Paypal accounts to women selling clothes in the market. If your products/services appeal to people who are both online and offline, then look for where the greater proportion of your market is and channel mosr of your advertising there.

The problem with many types of off-line promotion strategies is that it can be very difficult, if not difficult to evaluate the accurate outcomes of an offer. When justifying the costs of off-line promotion techniques, promotion supervisors often need to talk about such outcomes in wide terms, highlighting “brand improvement,” or “customer awareness” because it is hard to accurately evaluate the effect of a single marketing, no matter what the method.

It's lack of understanding and predictability that discourage some companies. And that's definitely a good reason. After all, why would you spend a lot on something which may not even turn out profitable for you?
