Should I eliminate orphan pages for SEO?
Does it affect my site ranking to have many orphan pages? Should I eliminate them or just ignore them and focus on the web architecture of my pages are are linked together? Thanks.

I would say, you can delete them if its useless for you but you will have to make sure that its linked to any other pages on your site or it has some backlinks on other sites. In this case, you will start losing visitors from your site, if you will remove them. There can be a possibility that Google would have already ranked your page and if you would lose those pages, your website would lose those ranking points.
If you feel, those pages can be useful, you should do some internal linking and make it worth keeping as deleting those pages is not an easy solution.

if you have only 2-3 orphan pages then its ok.

If there are small number of pages which is totally useless you can delete it but if its not then don't do it for there's a big chance that you will lose your rankings.

What do you mean exactly with orphan pages?
