How long for backlinks to take effect?

Hey Guys,

Well last night I started building backlinks to our new site, and so far i've got a few coming along, but I wanted to know how soon it would be before we start seeing traffic coming in through these links, and start seeing the difference they are making?

Any advise would be great!

Also, any other tips on SEO and building traffic, maybe links to useful sites etc would be much appreciated.

Don't expect much overnight. It takes time before the engines pick up the backlinks to your site. Their spiders have to find the websites where you place the links, and than have to follow these links. Sitewide links and links on the frontpage are good, but if you putted them away in 6 months old blog posts, it might take some time for the spiders to find you.

Also, you should use different kinds of anchor text to see good results. Make it look natural for the spiders.

My advice: Market the sh*t out of it. Tell everyone you know about it. Create buzz

Hi bashi, I agree with you. I have my one site which every keyword get down. But backlinks not much. So how increase my site keyword? Can anyone help me?

And I think only a backlink on PR1+ page will be useful, and the more PR the linking page is, the more valuable will be the backlink.

In my opinion,You have to built more and more back links for produce traffic.If possible to try to get these links from High PR site and rel="Do Follow"

Hey it's all depend from which site you are getting back link what it pr and how much popular is that particular site is. So all these factors depend on the driving traffic to your site. Such as some site are more popular like twitter, stumble-upon.So if you are getting back link from these site then definitely you will observe some traffic from these site soon.
