Why A Network Of Sites Is So Important.

A Network of sites is one of the best things to have, every month, i get a peice of paper, register 6 domains and write them all down, i make one of the domains the main site, and the rest of them hub sites..

the main site will be a blog or a product (not an afiliate product, just a cheap product that people wait/need..like a all singing all dancing SEO Wordpress theme..)

then 5 other sites will just be blogs that have 3-4 feeds on them, and some custom posts from myself, that all contain a link and some promotion for the main site, and atleast 2 links to 2 of the other hub sites..

so now you have a network thats all linked together, backlinks are instantly generated..between all sites..so now you have 6 sites that are getting indexed in google..and you have 1 site that has some SEO authority..

now continue for 2 weeks making 1 small post per day on each of thye blogs, containing a link back to the main site..

i use this theory on a new netowkr every month since february and i now have 6 networks..and around 10 sites that all have a stead build up of organic traffic bringing in around 100 uniques a day.

a new thoery that ive been trying this month is to start one site, and then create blogger, wordpress.com and blogspot, squidoo sites sosmash backlinks towards the main site..

Very helpful post, and it sounds like it's definitely a concept that could work. Personally, the only problem would time! It must take a chunkload of your time to manage that many sites at once.

having a network of sites that have the same topic can be really good for rankings. make sure you use different ips to host them on so the engines won't see it
