Best thing is that Google Adsense ads should be posted on your site's top fold so that first time visitors can see it without scrolling down. And a wise selection of ad sizes are also needed. It is suggested that you need to at least have a 120x600 tower ad on the side bar.

If we don’t, then its like making money without knowing whose signing the checks.
