Adsense Link Unit or Ad Unit

What do you prefer? I prefer an Ad Unit. I am also running different Link Units on some of my sites, but they don't get me much money!

Link unit also takes 2 clicks to make money, instead of 1 click for an Ad unit

Any insights about this?

Obviously I prefer ad unit.But sometimes I use link unit where I think it suit best in my site specially under the header of my site and sometimes under category section.
