With a partner you can push each other to work harder at it, so more chance to succeed! Also, you know more people with the two of you! + link building goes twice as hard if you both work on it!

If you have an interest then you can make a site, but if you and a friend have an interest then you both can make one big site and have more fun doing it (plus less work ).

Exactly If you have more than 1 site, it is good to have a partner on some others

Sometimes people offer to help for nothing and then you get 100% of the profits

All good points here, the negative part of a partnership is that you have to split the profit...

That is an issue but it could work out as you doing most of the work and them getting a small percent of the profits.

The site I'm building is being done with a partner; being able to divide up the work behind the site can be a godsend, even if you only get half of the profits. The time saved by having the help may actually make your ROI in the site higher.

Modern corporate law has seen an increase in the number of available corporate forms. Before the creation of legal entities such as the LLC and the LLP, many ventures were formed as general partnerships; today, relatively few are. This article attempts to answer whether there is any reason to form a general partnership today, in light of new corporate forms which combine many of the advantages with few of the disadvantages.
