    Default FTP Programmers - experts?

Are FTP Programmers supposed to be experts in the wordpress theme? Many FTP Programmers boast to have started their own wordpress operated sites. Any comments?

As far as I know, FTP is an acronym for File Transfer Protocol.
It's a way to transfer files from your computer to a remote server using a FTP software.
I didn't know there are programmers for this...

Clients such as FileZilla are used as FTP Clients to upload files, set permissions etc.

even i dont use FTP software, almost all the things can be easily done in cpanel.
I like working on cpanel than FTP software.

What is a cpanel? Is it similar to Blogger's post editors?

Do you have a professionally built website? If you are a novice at computers, this is going to be an ambitious task for you.

You can't FTP using Wordpad, that's not what it's designed to do. FileZilla is a free ftp program, CuteFTP is really easy for novices to use and includes a text editor to help you edit your pages. It also has syntax highlighting, which will help you see what tags belong to what. The Firefox browser also has a free extension called FireFTP which is really good for novices too.

Hey thanks for that information .

But i use the default cpanel editor. Dont find it difficult editing files from there.
But syntax highlighting sounds to be nice feature, might just give it a try.
