Selling Ad Spaces and Text Links Ads

I wonder how do other blog owners states the prices of their ad spaces and text link ads.
Is it based on traffic or Page Rank?

Most of the times it is based on traffic! But pagerank still plays a role in this!

I would pay more for a website with 50,000 monthly visitors and PR 1 than a site with 3,000 monthly visitors with PR 4

You also have to ask yourself what you want. Do you want to get traffic with the links you buy or rankings??

The quality of the traffic is important as well.

So if its from the UK, USA etc and its from a search engine then its worth more than traffic from China thats been bought.

Traffic and PR both would determine the prices. I personally find it better to have a little of both. Good traffic and a decent PR means it blog is doing relatively well.

Since I'm selling ad spaces on my blog and priced them based on what I saw from other sites,.I want to know what's the best possible prices for my blog via this current stats:

Page Rank 3
Page views: 79,808 (2k+ a day)
Visitors: 36,150 (more or less 1k a day)
First time visitors: 20,160 (55.76%)

Selling ad spaces is okay but selling text links can harm your site rank.
