i checked out that webpage.
It provides with all the basics of wordpress like how to install themes, add adsense, build categories etc.
You can surely have a go if you dont know anything about wordpress.
Nice site for beginners.

I have used Wordpress on friend's site when I contribute some blog posts. But honestly, I haven't tried anything besides it, like editing the theme and adding add-ons or widgets.
