    Exclamation How to check backlinks in Yahoo!?

    How do I check backlinks in Yahoo? and is it useful to know these numbers or is yahoo listing way to much?

    It is very easy:

    1. Go to Yahoo.com and click inside the search bar. In the search bar you need to type in site:www.webmastercage.com, replacing the sample domain name with your own.

    2. Click on "Inlinks" you'll see two drop down menus. By default they will say "From All Pages" and "Only this URL" respectively. Click on the first dropdown menu and choose "Except from this domain". This will take all of the links from your own site off the list and just leave the links from other websites.

    It is useful to check popularity, but Yahoo does list too much links in there!

    Yahoo's Site Explorer will do the trick for you.
    Currently, mine got over 9k Yahoo Backlinks.

    I use yahoo site explorer to check back-links of a website and i believe it is the best tool to check back-links as it shows more results and is faster than backlinkwatch

    Sitewide links on directories will spice up the number at Yahoo! They are of no use though
