Traffic from Stumble Upon

Last year I had a hit on Stumble Upon with 1 post on one of my mobile sites (small one). See the traffic I still get from Stumble Upon this year...

In last 5 months I still got 1300 + visitors from them! Proofs it is still useful to add some good posts to stumble!



Slowly its getting less and less, but still

I tried it but I didn't get many visits from stumble upon.

Maybe 10 - 50 visitors over the life of my website.

It was a frontpage hit though, other hits didn't delivered me much traffic either

Nomar I should say you are lucky with Stumble upon. It has worked for you. 1300 odd visitors in five months has a very healthy average!

True... They are all heading to the same post though, putted some extra adsense ads up in there

The mind of the affiliate marketer is satisfied once he gets traffic any kind of traffic for that matter. Same is the case with what he gets from the manual traffic exchange systems like trafficswarm.com

I second that.It doesn't convert well. I have seen a guy's alexa ranking went 850k higher within 2 months just with the help of stumbleupon. But still, the site became a lot popular, with less conversion. He finally dropped developing that site.

I don't mean to say that this traffic will never be useful. This traffic helps your site to grow popular and indexed in engines. That will get you targeted traffic which will start converting. One thing is, patience is important in everything.

As I would put more effort into it if the traffic was worth something.
