That is a pretty big number! I have been on Yahoo Answers a while to to drop linksThis week Yahoo! Answers reached an important milestone – we received our 1 billionth answer!
From the small beginnings when we received our first answer from the public back in December 2005 we have now become the largest and most popular global Q&A site on the internet, available in 9 languages across 21 countries.
The volume of contributions we receive from the Answers community on a daily basis is mindboggling. Yahoo! Answers currently receives:
823,966 questions and answers per day…
that works out to 34,331 per hour or 572 per minute
which is 10 questions and answers posted EVERY second!

ya even i agree
its very helpful too at many time
but mostly i visit yahoo answers through google
i search something on google and find answers on yahoo answers

That's a milestone for yahoo.
What reminds me is some of the funny questions I have read over time on yahoo answers. Nothing beats those silly questions. Lol!

But still, One can trust yahoo answers for most of their unanswered questions. And even some spammers post their site's link to only relative questions (Just like me :P ). That is not so harmful I suppose.

Some spammers post relevant answers and help and so its not really that bad....

Some of the answers are good and some are not but its okay as long as I post my ads.

I have been a user of Y! answers. I should say, I truly enjoy answering some questions and even gets excited everytime my answer get chosen to be the best!
