A really sad story, I guess. I do think you should have been a staff since youa re there to help the forum grow.
Just months ago, I became a mod on a certain forum that I mainly join because of their contest. But since I have contributed alot in the forum, the admin made me a mod and help him in keeping the forum alive.
    Nice to hear that.
By the way did you win in the contests?
I mean moderators are sometimes not allowed to enter the contests... right?

I would have personally tried to get the mod poisson really quickly and if they refused then I would have left.
i was a beginner then, dint knew what forums are about.
Used to browse web using my cell phone... dint even had a pc then
so dint knew any other forums, and vbulletin and ipb boards were too difficult to browse from my opera (for mobile)
This forum was a chipmunk forum (lol has anyone heard about it?)
But i really liked the forum, used to get all softwares, games and videos for my mobile from there.

Then pc came to my life and i found better forums finally...
    So left the old one.

Well, I won a couple back when I was just starting in the forum.
But there are still ongoing contests that all are included, even the mods wh have done a good job in moderating and protecting the site from spammers.

Social bookmarking sites are really useful for bloggers. From all the social bookmarking sites out there, I much like Digg even though it is nofollow it is really a great help in marketing a blog.

I agree. Your site might e talk for a while but it won't last for long time. It is still better that they talk about your site because they like it and they are getting really useful information from it.
