not personally but it was like
i was a member of one forum
few of its moderators started another forum
they kept google ads on their downloads page
these people from first forum started discussing around in chatbox to attack their sites and give multiple clicks on their adsense ads
then next day i went to other forum
and admins there are like "our adsense account has got banned due to these losers,blah blah blah"
they said that in shoutbox and there were no ads on the download page from then
so i guess this works

Wow. A very cruel trick I might say. But it's a bad thing to cheat a rival site by using those methods.

but i was never made a moderator there.

A really sad story, I guess. I do think you should have been a staff since youa re there to help the forum grow.
Just months ago, I became a mod on a certain forum that I mainly join because of their contest. But since I have contributed alot in the forum, the admin made me a mod and help him in keeping the forum alive.

I would have personally tried to get the mod poisson really quickly and if they refused then I would have left.

If the blog has articles on four to five niches that are very popular, then people would often visit the blog and the blog would become popular very fast.
