If you want to have targetted traffic for searches in a certain country, it is advisable to use a domain that's for that country. For example, if you want targetted traffic from the US, you need a .US domain extension.

Microsoft.mobi XD , countrydomains are great, In the UK with .co.uk when you buy a domain you can opt out of whois for free, i use it for some of my sites like my latest one www.webmasterteam.co.uk , i dont always have enough cash for .com so i get a .co.uk XD , from the registar i usually get it from its quite cheap
