    Default Game programming

I want an online game with a server and variables in it, it also needs a basic interactive interface. What is the best language and programs for this?

Really depends what all you're looking to do. What types of games are you looking at working with? 2D, 3D, text? Shooters, MMOs, MUDS? Will they run in the browser or as a standalone application?

What's your desired distribution platform? Are you looking to distribute the game yourself at your own site? Through Facebook?

Do you know any languages already?

Having worked with several companies previously on a variety of different games I can probably point you in the right direction if you give me a little more information.

Is there any site that teaches how to run an online game website? How much can one earn from an online game website?

Dont know about site that teaches
But there are scripts for game sites
They use databases to save Name and Hi Scores
Flash games can be really addictive and some of them are real fun to play

Earning depends on how famous your website is
Making 100$/month is not hard [if adsense is allowed]
But you need to do quite a lot of publicity and make your website very famous before that.

I tried an online game maker once, trying to make a tetris kind of game, but after a few hours I gave up. Not my cup of tea. I'll stick with creating sites and selling them for the moneysss

It depends on your needs, you will have to make sure that it would be easy for you to learn new in that lanuage and it must be suitable for game development libraries or APIs and what platform you would be using to run that particular lanuage.

If you would like to become a game programmer, you must first learn the basics of programming itself. The fundamentals of programming will be the building blocks that are necessary to work on bigger, more complex, projects such as video games. Many seasoned game programmers recommend that beginners start with Python. Python is a very basic language, and is a good language for aspiring game programmers to learn the basic concepts of programming that are needed in building video games.
