Search engine optimization, SEO, provides an opportunity for a company, especially those that are yet starting, in order to get their name and products readily available for their clients. It is a series of techniques to increase visibility, traffic and, of course, cash flow.

It is indeed important, so what did I do, is that I add the link to a page that is highly visited or sometimes I add content that explains the purpose of the link.

Links are commonly in the top left corner of sites, but sites with a heavy amount of content may generate more activity with their links placed near the content itself; think picture hosting sites for artwork. People are going to the sites to see the artwork, so the sightline when they go to the sight will be towards the pictures. Links directly above or below the pictures (in between them, preferably) are the most profitable in generating hits.

You are right about that hero, but the best value for your link is in the left top of a website as spiders / crawlers start their indexing there
