    Default Windows Live Writer

Obviously a lot of people here use Wordpress a lot. Anyone use Windows Live Writer to make posts? Unfortunately, my last site that ran WordPress wouldn't sync up with Live Writer. Currently though I'm setting up a new site and just synced Live Writer with my new blog. Anyone ever used it? Do you like it or am I just wasting my time?

So, I've played around with Live Writer a little more now. I love it. My only complaint is that I can't put in information for things like All-in-one-SEO through Live Writer so I still need to go into the actual post and put in that information.

Still, I tend to write quite a few posts at a time and then nothing for a while and Live Writer is great for that. When you go to publish a post you can have it wait until a time you set in order to publish the post.

So, yeah, I guess I like it if I'm going to be writing a lot at once.

Let me know what you think of it. I've still not used it a ton. Wish I had more of a use for it but with out the ability to use plugins like all in one SEO I still need to go into wordpress and change stuff.

I have used it before, but the problem with it is that I use custom fields for my images so that they appear like a magazine. I can write the article on Windows Live Writer, but then the time comes that I want to publish and I still have to go in and add the images to the custom fields. Otherwise, my magazine themes don't work effectively and it is just frustrating.
    You bet there's a signature...Just not yet.

Windows Live Writer, developed by Microsoft, is a desktop blog-publishing application that is part of the Windows Live range of products. It features WYSIWYG authoring, photo-publishing and map-publishing functionality, and is currently compatible with Windows Live Spaces, Share Point blogs, Blogger, Live Journal, Type Pad, Word press, Telligent Community, P Blogs.gr, Journal Home, the Meta Web log API, the Movable Type API, Blog engine and all blogs that support RSD (Really Simple Discover ability). Windows Live Writer introduces the Provider Customization API that enables both rich customization of Windows Live Writer's behavior as well as the opportunity to add new functionality to the product. Currently Windows Live Spaces, Word Press, and Type Pad have all taken advantage of this API to expose additional service-specific features within Windows Live Writer.
