Really? C# can be used to develop programs for Windows, XNA (Microsoft's plug-in for Visual Studio to allow you to develop games for Xbox, Windows and Zune). Windows Phone will use it and Silverlight uses a combination of C# and C++.

Heh, You bet. I mainly want to learn it so I can use Silverlight. Not sure how much of Silverlight is based on C# and how much is on C++. I'll report back when I get that far. Could be a while.

C++ and C# are the same. I took a college class on it but I actually learned it faster from W3 Schools, it depends on your learning preference. For me W3 Schools was the best + its free

Becoming an expert programmer won’t happen overnight, but with a little patience, you’ll get there. And LearnCpp.com will show you the way.
