Spinning of articles coupled with some imagination will do well in SEO. Mere spin may not serve the actual purpose. As someone pointed out it is synonym replacement at its best.

The main problem I have with these articles is the fact that these turn out to be just a bunch of rubbish. The english is bad and doesn't make much sense. I would rather write the article myself than spin it and put stuff out there just makes the reader not want to read my article. so yeah.

Article spinning is an art by itself. I do not recommend article spinning. Instead of spinning rewriting once with effective understanding of the subject is preferable.

I think article spinning is pointless. As others have said, article spinning software doesn't really work. And if you are going to rewrite one of your own articles a little bit to try and make it pass as unique, then why not spend a bit more time and effort and write something completely unique, with a whole new set of points? That will be a lot better for SEO in the long run, surely.

Got to agree with Matt. When you spin an article, the article goes from sounding coherent to sounding like gibberish, but with actual English (or whatever language) words. This does nothing to make the reader actually appreciate the site. Instead of doing that, take some time and write different articles. OR!!! Hire someone to do it. Outsourcing is totally 2010.

While spinning the spinner should make a good use of the thesaurus. It is for the good of both the parties, the service provider and the job provider.

Article spinning is way to take one article and make hundred of unique article out of it.Article spinning is changing the same article slightly to avoid any real or imagined search engine penalties for duplicate content before you post multiple place.

I stopped doing this, you need a really good program to get good texts, didn't come across one yet..
