More from Yahoo than Google?

It seems that Yahoo likes me better than Google as I have gotten more visits from Yahoo (Only be one visit though so far)

That happened to anyone else?

I use Google Analytics and it tells me where my traffic is coming from.

Maybe is yahoo giving your new site credits right away and Google might wait a bit longer and check if your site is really going somewhere and giving useful information.

I think in a few months, Google is giving you more than Yahoo! maybe within weeks!

The domain rule where you reg it for longer.
Has it be proved that it improves SE rank?

I don't know if its proved by someone, but I believe in it! Sounds like common sense to me!

Maybe you can do that after 1 year or something, I don't think it will make a big difference though, but later, when you are still around and pretty popular, it might give you that extra boost! In the beginning you are good with 1 year registration I guess

I still get visits from Yahoo but Google has taken over

It's because your site is probably ranking pretty high in Yahoo, one thought that I have had is Yahoo looks more at the keywords in the domain..

But thats just my thoughts..

I think it was the fact that Google didn't rank me very high but they are starting to rank me a bit higher now
