Even if the visitors remain for sometime it improves the site stats
Basically it helps making people feel that your site is really good
Because if i were to judge a site, i first go to alexa and check its details
I check for its search results backlinks and pagerank, if the site is good i stick to it
Else i dont bother to dig in deep and really find out myself if i can get what i want.
