yeah most of traffic comes from india
but its not considered as good as US,UK,Canada

So, here's the real question. If you get a .in domain, what language do you make it in? English is one of the official languages but is it common enough that most people with access to the internet will be using it?

I mean, if 90% of the population doesn't speak English and thats what you set your site up in...does it really matter?

True. One thing I didn't think of right away but seems like a possibility; do you suppose that there will start to be Indian companies that will use .in domains to sell to the rest of the world?

If that started to happen then it wouldn't really matter if no one in India spoke English. You wouldn't actually be running a site for indians but a site for countries that spoke English and you'd simply be jumping on the popularity of the .in domain.

Well selecting a language is not a problem because lot many are learning English 10% in India means a lot of population dude. India is second largely populated country in the world.

.in domain names comes under the classification of dns which further comes under the country wise classification and .in belongs to India
