    I don't.

I don't personally see the point in it... I prefer just to work on projects that I like and buying .in domains isn't apart of it.

I got two .in domain names! Holding them for over 2 years already!

Just as investment, don't know if I will ever make a nice profit with them though! Just keeping them

This could probably go in the thread about country domains but I'll put it here anyway.

For those of you in other countries, are your countries domains big there? In the US basically all we think about are .com, .net, .org. Every once in a while I'll hear a friend say something about a .co.uk or a .ca but that’s very rare.

If other countries use their country domains like we us .com/.net here in the US (I'd say 99% of the sites we visit are one of these) then yeah, I am interested in .in domains. If not then I really won't bother with them.

Interesting. So .com must be largely just U.S. and other countries use their domains. In that case I might have to look into .in domains.

Anyone else live outside the U.S. and the Netherlands and have any information on what is used in their country?

.de is very big to! .nl is big and .co.uk is big

.fr is upcoming as they just got released! But i personally think that a lot of countries will use their country domains very soon!

.com is best ofcourse for international business.. but for national businesses, the country extension is I guess

In that case I wonder if their traffic would be considered as good as US, UK, EU etc.

advertisement money and ppc money is low for India... but technology is upcoming big time in India and they will get richer over time, I see some good things for these domain names..

so much people... for generic names, that is a good sign!
