They are both good points.
I would think that advertisements can go on your site even if there is little traffic but make sure they are not so in your face as then it might drive them away but at the same time put them in a place where they can be seen.
...
Well, that's the thing. Any good web site developer knows that in your face advertising is only damaging to the look and feel of the website. I have quite a few ads on my two sites, but they are located in ways that make the site look complete and don't damage the feel of the overall site.
As for Nomar...They are there for good content. If the content is good, I don't think any visitor is going to care if there are a lot of ads on the site or if there are no ads. Everyone has to make a living. People love free so much...Something has to keep that free for them. In other words...Ads...
You bet there's a signature...Just not yet.
i think that ads at the blogs were seems to be good at the left or in the bottom because i am also using it and it works good..if u place the ads between the posts then it would be a mess...thats why i am suggesting to have ads on bottom or left.
In an blogpost:
I would say to keep them outside of the post, unless its going to be a full review type post.
The Reason: They jump in really annoyingly..

Upper left corner or at the top of the forum or blog is the best place to place ads as every person who opens the forum or blog will see first at the top of the page so by placing the ad there you can get the more clicks and impressions.
Personally I think its best at the left of the content as the person viewing the content can have a clear look at the ads.
Sometimes ads on the bottom of the page are also effective. I have a feeling that the sponsored ads have good exposure than the ppc ads.
i placed my ads on top of post (468x60) and besides the post a 300x250 rectangle
and m getting considerably good amount of hits than i used to get when i used to place them below the posts
