each time i find a new site i check its alexa rank :P

it would be better if i say that these are the sites who encouraged other webmasters to make a copy of them and fail

After I realized alexa could be faked I always ask for the traffic source when purchasing a website. Any analytics reports which shows the traffic segregation is a must before buying a website. Just a heads up to all.

When buying a website, you should always ask for traffic screenshots or let the seller add your email to analytics so you can check everything. Alexa is a nice tool, and I like it.
